Gardaland is an amusement park located in North-Eastern Italy. Opened 19 July 1975, the resort includes Gardaland, Gardaland Sea-Life, and the Gardaland Hotel. It is adjacent to Lake Garda, but does not actually face the water. The entire complex covers an area of 445000 m², while the theme park alone measures 200000 m². Personally I would stay on Lake Garda and visit Verona from there. The lake covers a big area and needs as long as you can manage in order to even scratch the surface. Whichever way you decide, there are regular buses between Verona and the south and south eastern area of the lake. There are also trains to Desenzano del Garda and Peschiera del 2JCoc2.
