The issue with the SD card not being readable is likely an issue with your computer as the sat nav system can obviously read it. Check the card is clean, the correct way around etc. Finally, with the map updated software, the "update" option checks for any new files for your current maps.

Very occasional gear shift problem. I love my 2016 Discovery Sport, but it has one, serious problem. When starting from a complete stop, it very occasionally (like every 4-5 MONTHS) will not shift out of low gear. They stick due to the EGR gasses and oil being fed back into the intake. You need to remove the intake manifold along with the throttle body after disconnecting
