Citroen C4 Grand Picasso - Citroen Suspension Oddness. Hi all, Taking kids to swimming today, I hit a pothole and the suspension 'broke' somehow. It felt initially like one of the rear shocks had gone: every bump in the road left the car bouncing from side to side and it felt like the suspension was bottoming out on speed bumps. Hello Citroen C4 picasso sending message "suspension fault" and suspension emergency mode. I read fault code in suspension: C1196 what is it and why? Thank You
Fault Code: U1213. Description of Fault: Fault - absence of communication with the stability control (ESP) ECU: Value received incorrect. The ESP ECU sends out data that is invalid or information that is too short. Conditions for Fault to clear: Reception of 3 consecutive items of valid information.
Hi. I have some other problems with my suspension. C4 GP 1.6 EXCL 08 I have new compressor and new air bags. ECU was reset. Citroen garage can not find why the information SUSPENSION FAULT is still coming up. Suspension it doesn't want to go down after when I have unloaded the car. It's going up very quick but if I want to lower down its stack.
Wanted to remove service light & suspension fault after changing to coil springs. I also have automatic height adjustment on lights, so not an option to remove the suspension ecu in any case. Only setting that needed to be changed: Repair->bsi->configuration->bsi driving assistance->pneumatic suspension->disabled.
The sympoms are as follows: - The problem occurs so far only when starting the engine. Not spontaneously while driving. - The car gives a beep and a warning message right after I start the engine and the stop sign turns on. - The car is typically used less than one one hour before for a short trip.
So "tyre pressures not monitored" and Service light keeps coming up. Handbook tells you nothing other than a car silhouette comes up and shows you where the "fault" is. Ummm no it doesn't. I can't
