This is not a glitch, it is by design. Every time you enter a portal, Minecraft will search for a corresponding portal in the other dimension. It starts this search at an exact point based on the calculation below, and works outwards. If it finds an active portal within about 128 blocks, then it will send you there.
I’m guessing that if it’s a generation glitch then you can just move the portal either upwards or to the side (or both), and it should solve the problem. Just move it somewhere around 100 blocks away just in case you spawned in a place full of lava. I don’t really know on bedrock but this is what I’d do on java, hopefully should work

1 Answer. oddly enough, the math seems to be off here. for reference, one block in the Nether is equivalent horizontally, not vertically, to 8 blocks in the Overworld, so a portal located at 1, 0, 1 would create/link to a portal at 8, 0, 8. this means that, with some quick math, your Nether ceiling portal should be appearing at -584, 128, 576

In a Nutshell: To make a nether portal you will need 14 obsidian to build the frame. The base of the nether portal should be 4 obsidian wide, and the sides of the nether portal should be 5 obsidian high. This design will use 14 blocks of obsidian. Next, you need to activate the Nether Portal which can be accomplished by using flint and steel on SrArEaa.
