It does not matter if the vehicle speed is sometimes less than 40 km/h. The DPF system will continue the regeneration when the speed increases above 40 km/h again. It does not matter if the vehicle is stopped with the DPF warning lamp ON.
Once hot, stationary regeneration @ 2,200 rpm requires a consistent 16 minutes to complete. Next stationary regeneration, experiment with higher engine rpms. Stationary regeneration fuel cost is only ~~$1.00 Does RK55 manual suggest engine rpms during stationary regeneration?
Not all diesel 4WDs have a DPF button – the Triton does not. Regeneration takes anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes, depending on lots of different factors such as the amount of soot built up, type of
ranchertx. Mine did a short one at around 250 miles, then a full regen at around 525, another at around 1000, again at 1500. I had my instant mpg screen up is how I knew, the truck went to 11 mpg hwy and stayed there for about 15 miles. Regens are much less frequent than they were on my 2010.

Depends on the type of driving basically. On my T5.1 2.0L, mostly doing motorway it'll regen after about 300miles or so. Regen takes about 20-30 mins. If you do short trips it'll regen sooner and will kick off a regen when it needs it even if you are sat at traffic lights.
How often does DPF regeneration occur? Active regeneration will be initiated every 300 miles or so depending on how you use your car and will take 5 to 10 minutes to complete. But it’s a problem if your journey’s too short and the regeneration doesn’t finish.
SERVICE TIPS: DURAMAX EGR VALVE/DPF. Two critical elements that need to be checked out at 100,000 miles are the EGR valve and the DPF. Hasten says to run a computerized flow test on the DPF filter tol show if the filter in the exhaust stream needs cleaning or replacing. A number of companies across the country offer such filter cleaning
