We own 2 Fiat Punto Grandes and have just bought an 08 Bravo 1.4 T Jet. We have a problem. The engine cuts out/loses power for no apparent reason, no warning lights come on. It happens when engine cold or warm in any gear at any speed. If you lift your foot off The Punto is a good car tuning project base to play with. The Mk1 Punto GT is the best base for tuning by a long shot. After that the Mk2 JTD is pretty tunable, and developments are being made all the time with the newer 1.4 T-jet and 1.9 M-jet. The HGT can't be remapped and there's not much gain to be had out of the smaller engines.

Wondering if anybody can help me here. The Bravo Sport 150 t-jet has 281mm vented 4 stud front discs and I am thinking whether its possible to use this beefier set up as an upgrade the front brakes on a Mk1 Punto GT (fitted with bigger wheels obviously). Not sure how interchangeable these Fiat Diesel Applications. All upgrades are built/rebuilt with new core and nozzle components. The core assembly is VSR balanced and the nozzle assembly is flow tested to OE spec.
